Two kids from Appalachia fell in love and got married in 1973. Within 3 years they had 3 kids and Papa signed up with the Army. They also joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints were sealed in the Washington DC Temple and started life in military. Over the course of the next 20 years my family lived in Germany and several of the United States.

While Pennsylvania was always home we considered ourselves Americans first and foremost. Through our travels we learned to enjoy the good things about new places. We grew to a family of 8. Today that family consists of 6 kids with 5 spouses, and 17 grandkids. We are spread across this beautiful country and get together as often as occasion permits.
