What is it about February that I have been craving scones? Oh yea – doughnut day. I remember my Mom making doughnuts every February the day before Ash Wednesday. Well I closed out the month making a huge batch of scones for me and the kids – grandkids. The only thing that would have made the day better is if all could have been home. Jean blessed us with a great dinner so that I could spend my energies doing the scones.

Thank goodness for family. I love them all so much and don’t really show it enough.
